Seeing A Show At Broom Street

Welcome to Broom Street Theater! Before you check out what’s currently playing, please read the important audience information on this page.

Tickets

We are not sold out – even if the website says so! We have two types of tickets:

  • walk-up tickets (pay-what-you-can)
  • tickets pre-purchased online from EventBrite (set price)

For every performance, we set aside about half the seats for walk-up customers. Those tickets are first-come, first-served and are always pay-what-you-can. That means we have tickets available Every Night. For Every Show. You just have to get in line early enough and you will get a seat! What does “early enough” mean? There’s no set time. It depends on the demand for any particular performance.

For the other half of our tickets, we use EventBrite. That’s for those of you who like to have your tickets in hand well in advance. If EventBrite says we’re sold out – we still have those walk-up tickets!

Starting time

Shows begin promptly at the advertised curtain time.

For those of you with EventBrite tickets, please arrive at the theater by 10 minutes before curtain time. In the event of a high-demand show, we will start selling your seats to folks waiting in line 5 minutes before show time.

The front door of the building opens onto the stage. We cannot accommodate latecomers.

Accessibility

If you use a wheelchair or mobility device, if possible, please email our board (board@bstonline.org) prior to attending a show. We gladly adjust our black-box theater seating for wheelchairs and mobility devices, and it can be helpful to do that in advance.

Parking

We are nowhere near Broom Street. (We’re at 1119 Williamson.)

We have no parking, and parking in our neighborhood can sometimes be difficult. Please plan accordingly.

Thank you for supporting live, local theater! We hope to see you soon!
